Introduction of Community Center Director <br /> Christine Dean started on May 1. This was her first meeting with the CCPAC. She gave members some <br /> information her background. All attendees introduced themselves. <br /> 2. Minutes of April 27, 2017 <br /> The minutes from the April 27th meeting were reviewed and unanimously accepted. <br /> 3. Liaison Reports <br /> The Historical Society and Board of Selectman (BOS) should have liaison representatives to the CCPAC. <br /> Christine has reached out to Kelly Axtell about who will serve in these positions. <br /> 4. Community Center Director Updates <br /> o Programs & Facilities <br /> Three summer interns have started working on Marketing,the Program Brochure and at the Reception <br /> Desk. <br /> Grants have been received from the Dana Home Foundation for the Forever Fit program and from the <br /> Community Endowment of Lexington for CPR classes and training. <br /> The Woodworker's Guild at LACS donated a bench which is in the front entryway. <br /> An artist from the Munroe Center is donating some paintings to the CC. <br /> There are many upcoming programs for families. <br /> The Electronic Calendar will be scrolling on screens in the lobby. <br /> There is a hand-held translator that helps communication with patrons who speak other languages. The <br /> town has a list of people in Lexington who can translate documents into other languages. <br /> o Human Services <br /> Charlotte reported that they have a new social worker in their dept. <br />
