Mr Dearborn sent a list of merchants <br /> who were willing to have UN posters Mr. Rooney <br /> delivered the posters to six of the stores. <br /> Mr Lewis was asked to inquire from the <br /> Board of Selectmen why no publicity had been given <br /> to the townpaper about the formation and organization <br /> of our committee. <br /> The remainder of the evening was spent on <br /> April 19 and looking over past celebrations Mr <br /> Frothingham had brought several copies of last year' s <br /> schedule. Matters on the agenda for the evening were <br /> return of the children' s color guard; military units <br /> in the parade; no speaker for the afternoon; a float <br /> division and its arrangement; and the need for a theme <br /> around which to build all parts of the celebrations. <br /> Mr Lewis suggested "We, the People . " <br /> The meeting adjourned at 9:30. The next <br /> meeting would be Tuesday, November 1, in the Select- <br /> men's room.
