Meeting Attendees: Members - Archana Singhal ,Lisah Rhodes, Alessandro Alessandrini, Nancy Adler, Dan Palant, Nancy Shepard (Chair), Ex-Officio Member Attendees: Sheila Butts (Community Center Director), Peter Coleman (Asst. Director of Recreation & Community Programs) Charlotte Rodgers (Director of Human Services) Hemali Patel (Senior Services Coordinator) Tom Romano (Youth Services Coordinator) Unable to attend: John Zhu. The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm. 1. Introductions All attendees introduced themselves. 2. Thank You Members of the Committee thanked Sheila for her services to our committee and to the town. th There will be a Coffee for her on Friday, May 6 (her last day) at 10am. Christine Dean will st start on May 1. 3. Minutes of March 23, 2017 The minutes from the March 23rd meeting were reviewed and unanimously accepted. 4. Liaison Reports We talked about Art Displays at the Community Center (CC). There is a committee that meets and reviews slides from Artists who are interested in displaying their work at the Cary Library and the CC. The Cary Library is working on a Peace Art Project that is funded by the Moskow Family Fund that was set up in memory of their son Eric. Nancy will talk to the library about whether the Project might be displayed at the CC after it is on display at the Cary.
