REPORT OF TOWN CLERK 127 <br />REPORT OF THE PLANNING BOARD ON THE FOLLOWING PRO- <br />POSED AMENDMENT AS IT APPEARS UNDER ARTICLE 35 IN <br />THE WARRANT FOR THE TOWN MEETING TO BE HELD <br />MARGIT 1, 1937 <br />To amend the Lexington Zoning By -Law by insert- <br />ing in Section 7:— <br />(a) in the first line, after "R.2", the phrase "and <br />T.1," <br />A public hearing was held on February 19, 1937, on <br />the proposed amendment, after notices given in accord- <br />ance with the Lexington Zoning By -Law, and the Plan- <br />ning Board now submits a final report with recommenda- <br />tions to the Town. <br />The object of this amendment is to make the same <br />setback provisions for a Throughway (T.1) Zone as are <br />now applicable to other zones in the Town. <br />The Planning Board recommends favorable action <br />by the Town on this amendment. <br />NEIL H. M. <br />Selectman Charles E. Ferguson moves to take up Ar- <br />ticle 37, offering the following: <br />Art. 37. Voted: That the sum of $2,000.00 be appropri- <br />ated for the installation of underground cable for the <br />Fire Department in Massachusetts Avenue from the <br />East Lexington Fire Station in a southerly direction, of <br />which the sum of $1,912.00 is to be raised by direct ap- <br />propriation and the sum of $88.00 by transfer from the <br />1936 Account for Fire Dept. Underground Cable. <br />A. Edward Rowse of the Appropriation Committee <br />offers amendment to motion to read $3,975.00 made up as <br />follows : <br />By direct appropriation $3,887.00 <br />Transfer from 1936 Account for Fire Dept <br />Underground Cable 88.00 <br />$3,975.00 <br />Amendment as presented by A.
