REPORT OP TOWN CLERK 25 <br />entrance to and exit from the Lexington Railroad station, <br />and provide funds therefor by direct appropriation. <br />Article 41. To see if the Town will vote to take for <br />highway purposes the following described parcel of land. <br />being the northerly side of Depot Park, approximately 9,000 <br />square feet in area, and appropriate the sum of $2,000. for <br />excavating and resurfacing the same to be used for a public <br />parking space. <br />Article 42. To see if the Town will vote to appropri- <br />ate money for a power sprayer for the use of the Moth and <br />Shade Tree Division. <br />Article 43. To see if the Town will vote to appropri- <br />ate money for a highway grader for the use of the Highway <br />Division. <br />Article 44. To see if the Town will vote to install <br />sewer mains in such accepted or unaccepted streets as may <br />be applied for during the year 1936 in accordance with <br />authority contained in the By -Laws of the Town, subject to <br />the assessment of betterments, or otherwise, and to take by <br />eminent domain the necessary easement therefor, and to <br />appropriate money for said installation of mains by direct <br />appropriation or by transfer from other funds. <br />Article 45. To see if the Town will vote to install <br />water mains in such accepted or unaccepted streets <br />as may be applied for during the year 1936 in accordance <br />with authority contained in the By -Laws of the Town, sub- <br />ject to the assessment of betterments, and to take by emi- <br />nent domain the necessary easement therefor, and appro- <br />priate money for said installation of mains by direct <br />appropriation or by transfer from other funds. <br />Article 46. To see if the Town will vote to authorize <br />the Selectmen to construct granolithic sidewalks where the <br />abutting owner pays one-half the cost, and provide funds <br />for said construction by direct appropriation. <br />Article 47. To see if the Town will vote to appropri- <br />ate money for the installation of granite curbing on the <br />westerly side of Bedford Street from Elm Avenue to a point <br />approximately two hundred (200) feet north of Newcomb <br />& Dailey's garage. <br />26 TOWN OF LEXINGTON <br />Article 48. To see if the Town will vote to appropri- <br />ate money for highway maintenance under authority of <br />Chapter 90 of the General Laws. <br />Article 49. To see if the Town will vote to designate <br />by name the street extending from Hancock Street to Bed- <br />ford Street commonly known as North Hancock Street. <br />Article 50. To see if the Town will vote to appropri- <br />ate money for Pleasant Street and Watertown Street land <br />damages resulting from the relocation or reconstruction of <br />said streets. <br />Article 51. To see if the Town will vote to appropri- <br />ate money for the installation and maintenance of warning <br />signals at Fletcher Avenue at the Boston and Maine rail- <br />road crossing. <br />Article 52. To see if the Town will authorize the <br />Board of Selectmen to sell and dispose of the property taken <br />by the Town by foreclosure of tax titles. <br />Article 53. To see if the Town will vote to appropri- <br />ate funds for labor and materials on public works and for <br />other expenses in connection therewith, to be expended by <br />the Selectmen for aid to persons employed on various <br />proj eets. <br />Article 54. To see if the Town wilI vote to establish <br />the compensation of the Collector of Taxes, and Town Col- <br />lector, Town Clerk, and Town Treasurer. <br />Article 55. To see if the Town will vote to appropri- <br />ate money for the installation of underground cable and . <br />for the separation of tapper and box circuits for the Fire <br />Department. <br />Article 56. To see if the Town will vote to appropri- <br />ate money for the installation of a water main not less than <br />6" and not more than 16" in diameter in Bloomfield Street <br />from Massachusetts Avenue to Highland Avenue. <br />Article 57. To see if the Town will vote to appropri- <br />ate money for the installation of surface drainage in Bloom- <br />field Street from Massachusetts Avenue to Highland <br />Avenue. <br />
