<br />Article 27. To see if the Town will authorize the
<br />Selectmen to install street lights in the following unaccepted
<br />streets:
<br />Summit Road; Cary Street ; Kendall Road; Hamil-
<br />ton Road ; Ledgelawn Avenue.
<br />Article 28. To see if the Town will vote to install
<br />water mains in the following unaccepted streets, subject to
<br />the assessment of betterments, and to take by eminent do-
<br />main the necessary easement therefor:
<br />Blake Road, from the present end, to Preston Road;
<br />Preston Road from Blake Road to Simonds Road,
<br />and provide funds for said installation by direct appro-
<br />priation, or by transfer from other funds.
<br />Article 29. To see if the Town will vote to instruct
<br />the Tax Collector and Town Collector to turn over to the
<br />Town Treasurer his collections daily.
<br />Article 30. To see if the Town will vote to amend the
<br />General By -Laws of the Town of Lexington so as to provide
<br />that the Tax Collector and Town Collector shall turn over
<br />to the Town Treasurer his collections daily.
<br />Article 31. To see if the Town will vote to instruct
<br />the Town Clerk to turn over to the Town Treasurer any or
<br />all fees received by him as Town Clerk.
<br />Article 32. To see if the Town will vote to amend the
<br />General By -Laws of the Town of Lexington so as to provide
<br />that the Town Clerk shall turn over to the Town Treasurer
<br />any or all fees received by him as Town Clerk.
<br />Article 33. To see if the Town will vote to appropri-
<br />ate a sum of money to defray the expense incurred by the
<br />Town Counsel in the case of Ryder v. Town of Lexington,
<br />which pertains to Vine Brook Drainage.
<br />Article 34. To see if the Town will vote to appropri-
<br />ate a sum of money to satisfy the judgment entered against
<br />the Town in the case of Anthony Ross & Son v. Town of
<br />Lexington.
<br />Article 35. To see if the Town will vote to transfer
<br />unexpended balances in any of the accounts to the Excess
<br />and Deficiency Account or to any of the other Town Surplus
<br />Accounts.

<br />Article 36. To see if the Town will vote to establish
<br />as a town way or accept the layout of as a town way, Tower
<br />Road, from Massachusetts Avenue a distance of approxi-
<br />mately 455 feet southerly, as laid out by the Selectmen,
<br />under the Betterment Act, and shown upon a certain plan
<br />on file in the office of the Town CIerk, dated February 10,
<br />1936, and to take by eminent domain the necessary ease-
<br />ments therefor, and appropriate money for the construction
<br />of said street, or act in any manner relating thereto.
<br />Article 37. To see if the Town will vote to establish
<br />as a town way or accept the layout of as a town way,
<br />Richard Road, from Tower Road to near Plymouth Road,
<br />a distance of approximately 275 feet, as laid out by the
<br />Selectmen, under the Betterment Act, and shown upon a
<br />certain plan on file in the office of the Town Clerk, dated
<br />February 10, 1936, and to take by eminent domain the
<br />necessary easements therefor, and appropriate money for
<br />the construction of said street, or act in any manner re-
<br />lating thereto.
<br />Article 38. To see if the Town will vote to establish
<br />as a town way or accept the layout of as a town way,
<br />Plymouth. Road, from Richard Road to Robbins Road, a
<br />distance of approximately 585 feet, as laid out by the Select-
<br />men, under the Betterment Act, and shown upon a certain
<br />plan on file in the office of the Town Clerk, dated February
<br />10, 1936, and to take by eminent domain the necessary ease-
<br />ments therefor, and appropriate money for the construction
<br />of said street, or act in any manner relating thereto.
<br />Article 39. To see if the Town will vote to establish
<br />as a town way or accept the layout of as a town way, Hib-
<br />bert Street, from Massachusetts Avenue southwesterly, a
<br />distance of approximately 230 feet, as laid out by the Select-
<br />men, under the Betterment Act, and shown upon a plan on
<br />file in the office of the Town CIerk, dated February 15, 1936,
<br />and to take by eminent domain the necessary easements
<br />therefor, and appropriate money for the construction of
<br />said street, or act in any manner relating thereto.
<br />Article 40. To see if the Town will vote to purchase
<br />or take by eminent domain for highway purposes a parcel
<br />of land approximately 23,286 square feet in area, now
<br />owned by the Boston & Maine railroad, and used as an
