To see if the Town will vote to appropriate <br />money for the completion of the disposal of surface drainage <br />in East Lexington as authorized by the vote of the Town, <br />March 19, 1934. <br />Article 35. To see if the Towii will make provisions for <br />the disposal of surface drainage in Haskell Street, Lowell <br />Street and private lands by the construction of drains or con- <br />duits, or diversion or relocation of brooks and for that pur- <br />pose take lauds or easements by Eminent Domain and provide <br />for the payment therefor by direct appropriation. <br />Article :hi. To see if the Town will vote to purchase au(1 ac- <br />cept from Peter J. and Margaret. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zon- <br />ing By -Law as follows: <br />By inserting after ,Section 3. C-1 Districts, Paragraph <br />30, a new paragraph which slraIl read as follows: <br />30a. At the junction of East and Lowell Streets, in <br />the southeast corner of the intersection, extend- <br />ing 1341 feet along Lowell Street and 250 feet <br />along East Street, and of a depth of 2011 feet <br />throughout. <br />Article 3S. To see if the Town will vote to establish the <br />office of Information Clerk, the position to be filled by appoint- <br />ment by the Selectmen, for a term not to exceed one year, and <br />that the surn of $450 be appropriated therefor. <br />24 TOWN OF LEXINGTON <br />Article 39. To see if the Town will authorize the Board <br />of Selectmen to sell and dispose of the property taken by the <br />Town by foreclosure of tax titles. <br />Article 40. To see if the Town will appropriate money to <br />pay the necessary expenses of the Superintendent of Schools <br />incurred outside the Commonwealth in securing information <br />upon matters in which the Town is interested or which may <br />tend to improve the service in the School Department and for <br />the purpose of meeting the appropriation and to establish the <br />new account to be opened for that purpose, the sum of $90 be <br />appropriated. <br />And you are directed, to serve this Warrant scvr,n days at <br />least before the time of said meeting as provided in the By -Laws <br />of the Town. <br />Hereof, fail not, and make due return on this -Warrant, <br />with your doings, thereon, to the Town Clerk, on or before the <br />time of said meeting. <br />Given under our hands at Lexington this twelfth day of <br />February, A.D., 1935. <br />BoBERr P.
