Mr. Bayley requested Mr. Clapp to withdraw his amendment to simplify matters, but Mr. Clapp could see no reason why he should do so, and the amendment was passed at 10:40 P. M. Mr. Bayley's substitute motion as amended by Mr. Clapp was then passed at 10:44 P. M. At 10:45 P. M. on motion of Edwin A. Bayley the meet- ing- was adjo'trned to March 10, 1924 at 7:30 o'clock P. M.
