This we are told by one of the trustees of <br />the property will be deeded to the town when the street becomes a <br />town way, and we ask that it become a part of this lay -out. <br />These streets pass through property which is being developed <br />into a fine residential section of the town, they have been practi- <br />cally constructed to grade, and in our opinion will be of no material <br />expense for some time. <br />We therefore respectfully recommend that said lay -out be accep- <br />ted and allowed by vote of the town, to the end that the new ways <br />be established as public ways. <br />A true copy. SWAN, <br />Town Clerk, <br />NEW SCHOOLHOUSE IN EAST LEXINGTON <br />SECOND REPORT of COMMITTEE ON BUILDING SITE, PRESENTED AT A <br />TOWN MEETING OCTOBER 19, 1911 <br />LEXINGTON, October 19, 1911. <br />The committee appointed for the purpose of investigating and <br />reporting to the town in reference to a suitable location and plans <br />for a new school building in East Lexington beg leave to further <br />report as follows : — <br />Acting under the vote of the town at the town meeting held <br />Sept. 15, 1911, "that it is the sense of the meeting that the com- <br />95 <br />mittee investigate and consider the matter of a proper approach to <br />the proposed school lot," the committee wish to recommend that <br />the town purchase in addition to the land which was voted to be <br />taken in fee at the town meeting held Sept. 15, 1911, the and and <br />buildings known as the Garmon estate and a triangular piece of land <br />in the rear of said Garmon estate and adjoining the former proposed <br />schoolhouse lot.
