49 <br />ART. 1. To choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting. <br />ART. 2. To receive the report of any Committee for action <br />thereon. <br />ART. 3. To see if the town will instruct the Boards of Selectmen <br />and Assessors, acting jointly, to sell the Tidd, Franklin and Howard <br />School buildings in such manner and on such terms as may, in the <br />judgment of said Boards, be deemed for the best interest of the <br />town, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 4. To see if the town will instruct the Selectmen to abate <br />the nuisance caused by the Rifle Shooting Range of the City of <br />Cambridge, or the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, or of owners <br />unknown, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 5. To see what action the town will take relative to the re- <br />duction of the classification of the postoffice at Lexington from <br />second class to third class, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 6. To see if the town will vote or recommend the change <br />of the name of the street now known as Mt. Vernon Street, extend- <br />ing from Percy Road to Highland Avenue, so that the two streets <br />now known as Percy Road and Mt. Vernon Street, which together <br />extend from Massachusetts Avenue to Highland Avenue, shall bear <br />the name of Percy Road throughout. <br />ART. 7. To receive and act upon the report of the Committee <br />on Additional Primary School Accommodations, and to appropriate <br />money for the purpose of securing land and grading the same, and <br />erecting and furnishing a new school building thereon, or act in any <br />relating thereto. <br />ART. 8. To see if the town will borrow money orincur indebted- <br />ness, and if so in what manner and in what amount, for the purpose <br />of securing land upon which to erect a primary school building; <br />erecting such building thereon and furnishing the same; and grading <br />50 <br />the grounds, or act in any manner in relation to providing for a new <br />building and the land therefor, and the means of payment therefor. <br />ART. 9. To see if the town will change the name of that part of <br />Warren Street running west from the junction of Eliot Road, to <br />Eliot Road, or act in any manner relating thereto. <br />ART. 10. To see if the town will appropriate the sum of six <br />hundred dollars for the purchase of hose for the Fire Department, <br />or act in any manner thereto. <br />Hereof fail not, and make due return of this Warrant, with your <br />doings thereon, to the Town Clerk on or before the time of said <br />meeting. <br />Given under our hands, at Lexington, this Twenty-third day of <br />November, A. TAYLOR, <br />Selectmen of Lexington. <br />MEETING DECEMBER 3, 1903. <br />Meeting called to order by the Town Clerk at 7.35 o'clock who <br />read the warrant and the return of the Constable thereon. <br />ART. 1. On motion of A. C. Stone it was <br />Voted, To elect a Moderator, that the check list be used and that <br />the polls be kept open 5 minutes. At the close of the polls it was <br />found that 34 ballots had been cast, all for Edward C. Stone, and he <br />was declared elected and was sworn by the Town Clerk. <br />
