BOA Meeting February 23, 2017
A Board Member, Mr. Ralph D. Clifford, asked the applicant why the request for the
variance is being made after the structure has been built (Mr. Antonelli answered that
when he was designing the roof to accomodate the house, he didn't do the correct
math on the curve of the front property line).
A Board Member, Mr. Hank Manz, asked for clarification on the topography of the lot
changes (it changes 12 ft in a 10 ft span).
A Board Member, Mr. Edward D. McCarthy, asked if the applicant still has to go back
to the Conservation Commission (they are still working with the Commission).
There were no additional questions from the Board.
There were no comments from the audience.
The Chairwoman closed the hearing at 7:58 pm.
On a motion by Edward D. McCarthy and seconded by Hank Manz, the Board voted 5-
0 to grant a VARIANCE in accordance with the Zoning By -Law (Chapter 135 of the
Code of Lexington) section 135-4.1.1, Table 2 (Schedule of Dimensional Controls) to
allow a front yard setback of 28 ft 4 in instead of the required 30 ft.
8
