Upcoming Funding: <br />Town Budget :$6,000.00 (Available 7/1) <br />MCC/Festival/Grants :$2,500.00 <br />Project Budget <br />Utility boxes :$2,000.00 <br />Bikeway :$4,000.00 <br />Porchfest :$3,000.00-$5,000.00 <br />Fall Outdoor Music Performances:$2,000.00 <br />•Discovery Day <br />Is taking place on Saturday,May 27th <br />Our table will be staffed by the following volunteers: <br />Steve (all day)and Anwell (Set up)Marie (10-12),Ashley (10-11:30),Claudia <br />(12-2),Anwell (12-3),Elsie (will come when she can) <br />Elsie will plan an activity for children (Poppies project).Anwell will bring some <br />instruments. <br />Other ideas:Get a painter to teach people to paint? <br />-Talking points :Qr code for website <br />-Schedule of upcoming grants. <br />-Poster (Anwell)for porchfest to collect bands and sign up people <br />(Date of porchest,invitation to join,and recruit,add a qr code) <br />-Opportunity to apply for grants <br />-Information/blurbs from some of the grantees <br />-Liaisons of grantees need to get a blurb.We can use the paragraphs that <br />grantees offered..This should be on the website.Claudia will compile. <br />•FY 2023 projects discussion <br />−Porchfest (Steve) <br />❖Some updates : <br />Sub committee:Steve,Lisa,Ashley,Anwell,Claudia,Marie <br />●We have about 3 possible neighborhoods. <br />●About 12 houses from Lisa’s neighborhood .Baskin Rd. <br />●There is a second neighborhood with about 4 houses confirmed and <br />about 6 more. <br />●Then there is a third neighborhood near the center.Houses are spread <br />out (right now about 3 people are interested. <br />We would need about 60 bands.(Steve will receive the list of bands who <br />played in Arlington). <br />❖Advertising: <br />●Promote the event at Discovery Day. <br />●Add a QR code to the website.
