<br />Minutes Approval <br />After discussion, Dr. Perlmutter made a motion that the Board of Health approves the January <br />24,2023 minutes as amended. Ms. Wolf-Fordham then seconds the motion. The motion passes <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Open Forum (2 minutes per person, state your name and address) <br />None <br /> <br />Proposed Revisions to the rDNA Regulation: <br /> <br />Ms. McCartin gave an overview of the proposed changes to the regulation. Ms. Caruso provided <br />further clarifications and answered questions from the Board. <br />After discussion, Dr. Heiger-Bernays made a motion to adopt the revised rDNA regulation. The <br />regulations are to go into effect after legal review by Town Counsel. The motion was seconded <br />by Dr. Tung, the motion was passed unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion: Warrant Article 32- Dunback Meadow Sewer Easement <br />Ingrid Klimoff- 18 Bacon Street. <br /> <br />Ingrid Klimoff presented the proposed Article 32 to the Board. Dr. Heiger- Bernays stated the <br />Conservation Commission was also having a meeting tonight regarding this matter. Dr. Heiger- <br />Bernays suggested the Board should postpone a response regarding support of this article and <br />wait until they hear what the Conservation Commission has to say. The Board of Health voted <br />unanimously on the decision to wait until the Board hears the Conservation Commission’s <br />decisions. <br /> <br /> <br />Update: Alexandria’s Convenience Store: <br /> <br />After a discussion of the status of Alexandria’s Convenience Store, Dr. Perlmutter made a <br />motion that the Health Office does an inspection tomorrow (2/23/2023) to decide whether or not <br />they are currently in compliance with the Food Code. An order is to be sent to the store to hire a <br />food consultant and set up monthly inspections for 4 months and send reports to the Lexington <br />Health Office by the end of each month. This motion is to begin immediately. The motion was <br />seconded by Dr. Heiger- Bernays. The motion passed unanimously. <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />Emergency Condemnation of a Dwelling- 2 Welch Rd <br /> <br />The passing of a town resident was a very sad situation. The dwelling was a hoarding situation. <br />The Health staff has yet to find a next of kin. The Health Office had to act to have the dwelling <br />secured and marked by the Fire Department to assure no one would be able to access the <br />dangerous dwelling. The Fire Department marked the house and DPW worked with the Health <br />Office to board up the dwelling. The Order and inspection report along with photos were <br />provided to the Board in their packets. <br />
