DESCRIPTION This statute permits the consolidation of maintenance functions of the School <br /> Committee and the Town if it is accepted by a vote of the Town Meeting and a vote of the School <br /> Committee. A vote by Town Meeting at this time would aid in the preparation of final plans for the <br /> proposed new Department of Public Works facility <br /> ARTICLE 8 APPROPRIATE FOR SENIOR SERVICE PROGRAM <br /> To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money, in addition to the sum appropriated under <br /> Article 22 of the warrant for the 2006 Annual Town Meeting, for a Senior Service Program, to be spent under <br /> the direction of the Town Manager; determine whether the money shall be provided by the tax levy, by transfer <br /> from available funds, or by any combination of these methods; or act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> FUNDS REQUESTED. $11,000 <br /> DESCRIPTION The response to the Town's Senior Services Program voted at the 2006 Annual Town <br /> Meeting exceeded expectations. The funds requested would enable the Human Services Department to <br /> accommodate all qualified seniors who requested to participate in the program. <br /> And you are directed to serve this warrant fourteen days at least before the time of said meeting as provided in <br /> the By-Laws of the Town. <br /> Hereof fail not and make due return of this warrant, with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, on or before <br /> the time of said meeting. <br /> Given under our hands this 30th day of October 2006. <br /> Jeanne K.
