ARTICLE 39 EXPAND MERIAM STREET <br /> PARKING LOT <br /> To see if the Town will appropriate a sum of money to expand the Meriam Street <br /> parking lot; determine whether the money shall be provided by the tax levy, by <br /> transfer from available funds, including the parking meter fees account, or by <br /> any combination of these methods; or act in any other manner in relation <br /> thereto. <br /> (Inserted by the Board of Selectmen) <br /> FUNDS REQUESTED: $72,000 <br /> DESCRIPTION: This article provides for paving and lining 47 existing <br /> parking spaces, creating 28 additional spaces and screening for abutting <br /> residences with fencing and plantings. The intent is that revenue <br /> generated from parking lots and meters will be applied towards supporting <br /> the parking program. <br /> ARTICLE 40 STREET ACCEPTANCE AND <br /> CONSTRUCTION <br /> To see if the Town will vote to establish as a town way and accept the layout of <br /> as a town way the following streets: <br /> (a) Malt Lane from Marrett Road a distance of 290 feet, more or less, to <br /> end; <br /> (b) Ryder Lane from Worthen Road a distance of 400 feet, more or less, to <br /> end; <br /> (c) Bicentennial Drive from Cary Avenue a distance of 1100 feet, more or <br /> less, to end; <br /> (d) Freeman Circle from Bicentennial Drive a distance of 400 feet, more or <br /> less, to end; <br /> (e) Woodpark Circle from Wood Street a distance of 3200 feet, more or <br /> less, to end; <br /> (f) Scott Road from Concord Avenue a distance of 895 feet, more or less, <br /> to end; <br /> (g) Trodden Path from Lawn Avenue a distance of 840 feet, more or less, to <br /> end; <br /> (h) Meadow Brook Avenue from Blossomcrest Road a distance of 283 feet, <br /> more or less, to Wellington Lane Avenue; <br /> (i) Wellington Lane Avenue from Meadow Brook Avenue a distance of 600 <br /> feet, more or less, to end; <br /> (j) Spencer Street from #17 a distance of 210 feet, more or less, to end; <br /> (k) Garfield Street from Hickory Street a distance of 300 feet more or <br /> less, to Earl Street; <br /> (1) Emerald Street from Asbury Street a distance of 409 feet, more or <br /> less, to Bellflower Street; <br /> as laid out by the Selectmen, all as shown upon plans on file in the office of <br /> the Town Clerk, dated December 1, 1982, (except Spencer Street which is dated <br /> May 18, 1982, Garfield Street which is dated August 26, 1982 and Emerald Street <br /> which is dated October 4, 1982) , and to take by eminent domain, purchase or <br /> otherwise acquire any fee, easement, or other interest in land necessary <br />
