ARTICLE 21 SALARY ADJUSTMENTS AND <br /> COLLECTIVE BARGAINING <br /> SETTLEMENTS <br /> To see if the Town will make appropriations for the ensuing fiscal year, in <br /> addition to those authorized under Article 20 of this warrant, to fund cost <br /> items (a) included in collective bargaining agreements reached between the Town <br /> and employee organizations and (b) resulting from such agreements as they bear <br /> on the Town employee wage and salary plan; determine whether the money shall be <br /> provided by the tax levy or by transfer from available funds, including any <br /> special funds, or by any combination of these methods; or act in any other <br /> manner in relation thereto. <br /> (Inserted by the Board of Selectmen) <br /> FUNDS REQUESTED: $334,000 <br /> DESCRIPTION: This article requests funds for anticipated settlements with <br /> regard to the collective bargaining units and for salary adjustments for <br /> employees who are not members of unions. <br /> ARTICLE 22 PRIOR YEARS' UNPAID BILLS <br /> To see if the Town will raise and appropriate money to pay any unpaid bills <br /> rendered to the Town for prior years; determine whether the money shall be <br /> provided by the tax levy, or by transfer from available funds, or by any com- <br /> bination of these methods; or act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> (Inserted by the Board of Selectmen) <br /> FUNDS REQUESTED: None at press time <br /> DESCRIPTION: This is an annual article to request funds to pay bills <br /> received after the close of the fiscal year in which the goods were <br /> received or the services performed and for which no money was encumbered. <br /> ARTICLE 23 SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS <br /> FOR AUTHORIZED CAPITAL <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS <br /> To see if the Town will make supplementary appropriations to be used in conjunc- <br /> tion with money appropriated in prior years for the installation or construction <br /> of water mains, sewers and sewerage systems, drains, streets, buildings, <br /> recreational facilities or other capital improvements that have heretofore been <br /> authorized, and determine whether the money shall be provided by the tax levy, <br /> or by transfer from available funds, or by borrowing, or by any combination of <br /> these methods; or act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> (Inserted by the Board of Selectmen) <br /> FUNDS REQUESTED: None at press time <br /> DESCRIPTION: This is an annual article to request funds for capital <br /> improvement project expenditures which exceed the level of appropriation. <br />
