-3- <br /> ARTICLE 5. To see if the Town will vote to transfer to the Board of <br /> Selectmen, or to the School Committee, for sewer, water, drain, street, school <br /> and playground purposes, and for all purposes incidental thereto, the care, <br /> custody, management and control of part of the land on and off Marrett Road <br /> that was acquired by the Town in 1965 for conservation purposes, and to <br /> transfer to the Conservation Commission for conservation purposes as <br /> provided by Section 8c of Chapter 40 of the General Laws, the care, custody, <br /> management and control of part of the land on and off Marrett Road that was <br /> acquired by the Town in 1965 for sewer, water, drain, street, school and <br /> playground purposes, to authorize the Board of Selectmen, the School <br /> Committee and the Conservation Commission, and each of them, to take such <br /> action as may be necessary or required by State and Federal authorities to <br /> effect the foregoing transfers, including the execution cc any contracts <br /> with said authorities as may be required, and to instruct the Selectmen to <br /> petition the General Court for enactment of any legislation that may be <br /> required to effect the foregoing transfer; or act in any other manner in <br /> relation thereto. <br /> ARTICLE 6. To see if the Town will authorize the Selectmen to purchase, <br /> take by eminent domain or otherwise acquire for off-street parking and other <br /> public purposes all or any part of the land on and off Massachusetts Avenue <br /> containing 20,146 square feet, more or less, described in three deeds <br /> recorded in Middlesex South District Registry of Deeds, Book 671,5, Page 321, <br /> Book 6851, Page 225, and Book 6914, Page 337; appropriate a sum of money for <br /> such acquisition, and determine whether the money shall be provided by the <br /> current tax levy, by transfer from available funds, including any unexpended <br /> balances in current appropriations, or by borrowing, or by any combination of <br /> these methods; or act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br />
