-6- <br /> ARTICLE 14. To see if the Town will authorize the Conservation <br /> Commission to purchase or otherwise acquire in the name of the Town, and <br /> will authorize the Selectmen to take by eminent domain, upon the written <br /> request of the Conservation Commission, for conservation purposes as provided <br /> by Section Sc of Chapter 40 of the General Laws , all or any portion of a <br /> parcel of land containing about 9 .55 acres, being shown as Lot 3 on plan of <br /> "Land of Peter J. Kinneen at Lexington, July 27, 1917, F. P . Cutter ( C .E. ) <br /> Lexington" , recorded in Middlesex South District Registry of Deeds in Plan <br /> Book 260, Plan 50, and a parcel of land adjacent thereto containing 16 acres, <br /> more or less , and believed to be now owned by New Amsterdam Casualty Company <br /> et al; and appropriate money therefor and determine whether the money shall <br /> be provided by transfer from available funds , including any unexpended. <br /> balances in current appropriations, or by borrowing, or by any combination <br /> of these methods; or act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> ARTICLE 15. To see if the Town will authorize the Selectmen on behalf <br /> of the Town to purchase, take by eminent domain or otherwise acquire for <br /> school, playground and other public purposes , all or any part of a parcel <br /> of land containing about 9.55 acres, being shown as Lot 3 on plan of "Land <br /> of Peter J . Kinneen, at Lexington, July 27, 1917, F. P . Cutter, (C .E. ) <br /> Lexington" , duly recorded in Middlesex South District Registry of Deeds in <br /> Plan Book 260, Plan 50, and a parcel of land adjacent thereto containing <br /> 16 acres, more or less, and believedto be now owned by New Amsterdam <br /> Casualty Company et al, and appropriate money therefor and determine whether <br /> the money shall be provided by transfer from available funds , including any <br /> unexpended balances in current appropriations , or by borrowing, or by any <br /> combination of these methods ; or act in any other manner in relation thereto . <br />
