-6- ARTICLE 14. To see if the Town will authorize the Conservation Commission to purchase or otherwise acquire in the name of the Town, and will authorize the Selectmen to take by eminent domain, upon the written request of the Conservation Commission, for conservation purposes as provided by Section Sc of Chapter 40 of the General Laws , all or any portion of a parcel of land containing about 9 .55 acres, being shown as Lot 3 on plan of "Land of Peter J. Kinneen at Lexington, July 27, 1917, F. P . Cutter ( C .E. ) Lexington" , recorded in Middlesex South District Registry of Deeds in Plan Book 260, Plan 50, and a parcel of land adjacent thereto containing 16 acres, more or less , and believed to be now owned by New Amsterdam Casualty Company et al; and appropriate money therefor and determine whether the money shall be provided by transfer from available funds , including any unexpended. balances in current appropriations, or by borrowing, or by any combination of these methods; or act in any other manner in relation thereto.
