r- <br /> -27- <br /> The Town Manager may impose conditions or modifications in granting permission, insofar <br /> as necessary to prevent the activity from constituting such an unreasonable interference. <br /> (3) An application submitted under paragraph (2) of this section shall contain such <br /> information as the Town Manager may reasonably require as necessary for the performance <br /> of his responsibilities under said paragraph, and shall state that the applicant or <br /> applicants will take reasonable measures to prevent littering and will remove all his <br /> or their equipment and material from the public area promptly upon completion of the <br /> activity for which permission is requested. <br /> (4) The Town Manager shall act on any application submitted under paragraph (2) of <br /> this section within three days from the time of its receipt. In exercising his powers <br /> under the said paragraph, the Town Manager shall apply uniform and consistent standards <br /> to all applications, shall make such standards known to applicants, and shall explain to <br /> applicants in reasonable detail the grounds for any denial, condition, or modification <br /> of an application. <br /> (5) No person shall climb upon, deface, mutilate, or otherwise injure_any tree, <br /> shrubbery, monument, boulder, fence, seat or structure on the Battle Green, or behave <br /> or conduct himself on the Battle Green otherwise than in a quiet and orderly manner in <br /> keeping with a respectful regard and reverence for the memory of the patriotic service <br /> and sacrifice there so nobly rendered. <br /> (Inserted at the request of ten or more registered voters) <br /> ARTICLE 76.
