-5- <br /> Article 30. To see if the Town will vote to establish as a town <br /> way or accept the layout of as a town way, Hayes Avenue from Woodland <br /> Road to Meriam Street approximately 300 feet as laid out by the Select- <br /> men, under the Betterment Act, and shown upon a plan on file in the <br /> office of the Town Clerk, dated January 7, 1949, and to take by eminent <br /> domain or otherwise acquire any land or easements necessary therefor, <br /> and to provide payment for the construction of said street and said land <br /> acquisition by direct appropriation, by transfer from available funds or <br /> by the issue of bonds or notes of the Town, or act in any other manner in <br /> relation thereto. <br /> Article 31. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Trustees <br /> of the Cary Memorial Library to proceed with the remodelling of the Cary <br /> Memorial Library Building substantially in accordance with plans submitted <br /> by the said Trustees and recommended by them, and to authorize the Board of <br /> Selectmen to obtain bids and execute contracts for said remodelling, and <br /> to provide for the payment therefor by direct appropriation, by transfer <br /> from available funds or by the issue of bonds of notes of the Town, or <br /> act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> Article 32. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate a sum <br /> of money for stone bounds to be installed on streets that have been <br /> laid out by the Middlesex County Commissioners and provide for the <br /> payment therefor by direct appropriation, by transfer from available <br /> funds, or act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> Article 33. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Selectmen <br /> to release to Charles W. Ryder and Robert L. Ryder, Trustees of Lexington <br /> Estates Trust, an easement for drainT e purposes over certain lands of <br /> Lexington Estates Trust in consideration for an easement for sewerage <br /> purposes across other lands of the said Lexington Estates Trust, from <br /> said Trustees, to the Town as agreed by the Selectmen subject to the <br /> approval of the Town, or act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> Article 34. To see if the Town will vote to determine whether <br /> the Board of Assessors shall consist of three or five persons to be <br /> appointed by the Selectmen, under the provisions of General Laws, Ter. Ed. , <br /> Chapter 41, Section 26, or act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> Article 35. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the School <br /> Committee to establish and maintain Government sponsored hot lunch <br /> programs in the elementary schools, and to appropriate a sum of money <br /> for said purpose and provide for payment therefor by direct appropriation, <br /> by transfer from available funds, or act in any other manner in relation <br /> thereto. <br /> Article 3S . To see if the Town will vote to appropriate a sum <br /> of money for the purpose of resurfacing the play area at the Parker <br /> School and provide for the payment therefor by direct appropriation, <br /> by transfer from available funds, or act in any other manner in relation <br /> thereto. <br />
