GENERAL ARTICLES <br /> ARTICLE 19 AMEND SECTION 6 OF ARTICLE I OF THE GENERAL BY-LAWS, <br /> NON-CRIMINAL DISPOSITION <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend Section 6 of Article I of the General By-Laws (Non- <br /> Criminal Disposition) by additions thereto relating to certain regulations of the Board of Health, <br /> all as shown in a document on file in the Office of the Town Clerk; or act in any other manner in <br /> relation thereto. <br /> (Inserted at the request of the Board of Health) <br /> DESCRIPTION: This article proposes to make one additional health regulation subject to <br /> non-criminal disposition. <br /> ARTICLE 20 AMEND SECTION 6 OF ARTICLE I OF THE GENERAL BY-LAWS, <br /> NON-CRIMINAL DISPOSITIION <br /> To see if the Town will vote to reconfirm the vote passed under Article 57 of the warrant for the <br /> 1998 Annual Town Meeting, authorize the Selectmen to petition the General Court for an act to <br /> amend Chapter 447 of the Acts of 1956 as amended which established the Historic Districts <br /> Commission to provide for the enforcement by the use of non-criminal disposition; or act in any <br /> other manner in relation thereto. <br /> (Inserted by the Board of Selectmen) <br /> DESCRIPTION: Reconfirmation of the vote is necessary at this time in order to petition <br /> the General Court to amend the Act establishing the Historic Districts Commission to <br /> permit enforcement of its orders and decisions by non-criminal disposition. <br /> ARTICLE 21 ACCEPT CHAPTER 41; SECTION 100G 1/4 OF MGL <br /> To see if the Town will vote to accept Section 100G1/4 of Chapter 41 of the General Laws <br /> relating to the payment of funeral and burial expenses of firefighters and police officers killed in <br /> the performance of duties; or act in any other manner in relation thereto. <br /> (Inserted at the request of the Town Manager) <br /> DESCRIPTION: The City of Worcester fire tragedy motivated the Town to ensure than it <br /> had certain benefits for employees who work under hazardous and dangerous working <br /> conditions. <br /> 19 <br />
