Perfor mance :10 dance groups- 6 minu tes dancing and 2 minutes rotation. <br />The following will be participating : Korean dancing group, Japanese dancing group, <br />Chinese dancing group , Tap dancing group. Potentially Israeli dancing group.DJ : <br />This is being finalyzed by Elsie. <br />Proceeds :the event will be free of charge but foodstands will collect money for <br />LexRef . ( 4 new refugees have arrived in Lexington and this money will be useful). <br />Grant cycle: update on applications <br />Deadline : October 17th <br />Tracked the MCC online : 9 applications right now. <br />Process : <br />-On the deadline , applications close and the panel book is sent to us . -By the <br />end of December we send a first list including the applicants who will not be getting <br />a g rant. <br />-These applicants have 15 days to appeal our decision. <br />-On January 17th, we infor m MCC of the recipients of the grants and the <br />amount of money allocated to each g rantee. <br />A Sub-Committee (Anwell - Chair, Ashley, Steve, Shalini and Marie) will help sort <br />through the applications. <br />Discover y Day (October 8, 2022) <br />Location of our booth: <br />Our booth is located in spot P29, which is inside Emer y Park, the small park in <br />Lexington Center (Depot Square) bounded on one side by Mass. Ave. and on the <br />other side by the Depot. There are two main walkways in the park that cross at the <br />center and our booth is very near where those two walkways cross.Schedule and <br />Assignments:: <br />Anwell and Steve will help set up.
