Sutherland Park playground renovation, the Rindge Park playground renovation, and the <br />Community Center Sidewalks and Patio renovation. <br />• Supported the excellence of the Pine Meadows Golf Course by continuing to develop <br />and execute a planned, stepwise, annual grounds maintenance and equipment <br />replacement program. <br />• Proposed and received funding approval at 2022 ATM for FY2023 capital projects to <br />support recreation in Lexington including reconstruction of the Farias and Gallagher <br />Courts, renovation of the bathrooms at the Center Recreation Complex, evaluation of <br />alternative energy options for the end -of -life replacement of the water heater at the <br />Irving H. Mabee Town Pool, the next cycle of Pine Meadows grounds maintenance and <br />equipment projects, renovation of the playground at Kinneens Park, renovation and <br />accessibility improvements to the Fiske Fields, and the development of a Lincoln Park <br />Master Plan to help guide the series of upcoming capital projects required to maintain <br />the facility. <br />• Commissioned and received the 2022 Athletic Fields Feasibility Study, quantifying <br />athletic field availability versus field need in Lexington and providing guidance on <br />options to increase field availability. <br />• Continued to incorporate the 2017 Recreation Facilities and ADA Compliance Study, the <br />2020 Community Needs Assessment, and the new 2022 Athletic Fields Feasibility Study <br />into our capital projects planning process. <br />• Graciously accepted park bench donations including benches at the Sutherland Park by <br />Lexington residents Stephen and Laura Canham, the Pine Meadows Golf Course by the MGL in <br />honor of Carl "Pinky" Fong, a bench at the Center Recreation Complex honoring Lisa <br />George -Cox. <br />• Enjoyed participating in the jury to select artists for the utility box painting program. <br />• Welcomed the Lexington Farmers' Market to a new location on the Worthen Road <br />Practice Field. <br />9/27/2022 3:13 PM <br />
