The Assessors hearing the facts _from Mr. Spencer again con- <br /> sidered the applications and voted to grant the reductions asked <br /> for. <br /> Taxes abated for the following amounts $12.56, 015.70, 41;15.70 <br /> and X25.12. <br /> Letter received from Mrs. Margaret R. Wright of 987 Waltham St. , <br /> was considered and the Board having viewed her property voted at <br /> this meeting to grant her an abatement of $31.40 on her 1941 tax <br /> bill. <br /> As Mrs. Wright, widow, bad no mortgage on her property this <br /> abatement had to be granted under Clause 18, Sec. 5. of Chap. 59. <br /> Letter from Selectman Giroux dated Nov. 25th, requesting the <br /> Board to consider the abatement of the 1941. real estate tax stand- <br /> ing in the name of Gertrude E. Cochran of 8 Stratham Road, was con- <br /> sidered and the Bdard voted to abate the total amount of her 1941 <br /> tax, <br /> The Board knew this was a worthy case and voted to grant the <br /> abatement under Clause 18. <br /> *a-tC <br /> , r- a• <br /> / <br /> 7r <br />
