Water Int. 13.18 <br /> Mr. Spencer informed the Assessors that Mary Manley was not satis- <br /> fied with the 1941 valuation reduction granted on her property located- <br /> at <br /> ocatedat #20 Parker Street and that her attorney had asked him to have the <br /> Board reconsider the application and grant her an additional abatement <br /> or else he would have to go before the Appellate Tax Board. <br /> The Assessors at this meeting again considered the assessment <br /> (of 47500)and voted to reduce the assessment $1000 more, thus making <br /> the total assessment $6500. <br /> The Assessors appointed the following Assistant Assessors for the <br /> year 1942: Richard E. Truesdell <br /> Roland E. Garmon <br /> George F. Smith Frederic B. Hunneman <br /> Frederick J. Spencer - Alexius R. Shea- <br /> Mr. Spencer informed the Board that he had been in communication <br /> with Mr. Thomas H. Twitchell of the Home Owners Loan Corporation in <br /> regard to four 1941 real estate abatement applications which the Board <br /> at some previous meeting voted-that no reduction be made on the 1941 <br /> assessments. <br /> Mr. Twitchell told Mr. Spencer that if the 1941 assessments on the <br /> following parcels were reduced the amounts set against them that they <br /> would not go before the Appellate Tax Board; <br /> 10 Berwick Road p400 reduction <br /> 1454 Mass, Ave. 500 reduction <br /> 24 Oakland St. 500 reduction - <br /> 83 Cary Avenue 800 reduction <br /> l i `t <br />
