Normally School has the "School <br /> Improvement Plan" and this is often the driver and main reason for this group, but the Town is <br /> starting something new under the concept of the "innovation plan". This is to support our <br /> schools values of belonging and embrace revolutionary spirt. As we come out of COVID—how <br /> do we move innovation forward and bring forth new ideas in a different away, so the <br /> improvement plan is being phased out into this new concept. <br /> • Missing a Site Council Member and we are on the lookout for a community member. <br /> Hastings Innovation Plan <br /> • Chris walks the committee though the power point that looks at the Hastings MTSS Self— <br /> Assessment Takeaways and Next steps <br /> • This year is still not "normal" as we are still navigating COVID and restrictions, but the <br /> expectations of moving curriculum is still a priority and supporting children as they transition <br /> back to in person learning. <br /> • Still wanting to ensure the creating a sense of community as we welcome new co-principals <br /> staff, students and retuning. <br /> • This self assessment gives the guidelines of what we need to work on as a school <br /> o Equity <br /> o Tier One support system —all students <br />
