t,47 <br /> Insurance : Fire insurance on buildings of $2,900 .00. <br /> Colonel Barry said that this iterris to be changed. There <br /> Is to be an Increase of $3,50C.00, making a total of $6,400.00 <br /> for fire insurance on buildings. This is due to the appraisal <br /> of present buildings at the present inflated costs. <br /> water maintenance - Personal Services. The amount <br /> requested for a Tunior Clerk in this budget is for Ruth Vauhn, <br /> and the Senor Clerk is Alice Corbett. Three-quarters of <br /> her time is charged to f'is budget. <br /> Water Maintenance - Wages and Expenses. There is <br /> a difference over last year in the labor item; a meter repair <br /> man has been added in this year' s budget. <br /> Water Maintenance - Capital Outlay. There is an <br /> amount In here to take care of the water standpipe which <br /> was erected in the year 1934. This tank should be either <br /> painted, or through the process of electricity, the rust and <br /> sediment should be removed. Colonel Barry stated that a <br /> number of towns have had this installation in the tanks against <br /> corrosion, and it has proved very satisfact-)ry. The last pito- <br /> meter survey had by the Town was in 1932, and Colonel Barry <br /> thinks that another one should be had now. This survey includes <br /> the chartin- of different sections of the town, and with this <br /> pitometer leaks in the water system will be discovered. <br /> Colonel Barry stated that no doubt there is tremendous leakage <br /> in the rater system. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 11 :25 P.M. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> ecretary. <br />
