-3- <br /> I <br /> of $200.00 was to take care of ordinary upkeep of signs . <br /> Numerous complaints have been made relative to the condition <br /> of street signs in Lexington and as a result of a thorough <br /> check made by Mr . Paxton, it was found that between 75 and 100 <br /> signs should be rep?aced.. <br /> A motion was made, seconded and voted to transfer <br /> 0500.00 from the Reserve Fund to "Street Signs" account. The <br /> Secretary was instructei to write Mr. Paxton that in the future <br /> he is not to commit the Town unle's the money is available. <br /> Mr. Lewis L. Hoyt read the letter received from the <br /> School Committee requesting a transfer from the Reserve Fund <br /> to the School Department-Expenses-Account in the amount of $500.00 <br /> to meet the Payroll for Mr. Shea, Town Painter. Mr. Shea is <br /> still working for the School Department. <br /> A motion was made, seconded and voted that a transfer <br /> from the Reserve Fund up to $500 .00 be made to the School <br /> Department-Personal Services-Budget. <br /> 141r. Grindle has furnished a list showing the additional <br /> costs in personal services for changes of leachers . This amounts <br /> to 41,766 .67. 2,002.00 was voted from the Reserve Fund at our <br /> meeting of June 23, 1944, so a transfer now will be made for <br /> $1,766.67 . <br /> Mr. Lewis L. rioyt called attention to the Fall Meeting <br /> of the Association of Town Finance Committees to be held at <br /> the Hotel Sheraton, Bay State Road, Boston, on Wednesday, <br /> October 4, 1944.
