2 8 CJ1 <br /> Article 50. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate funds for <br /> the disposal of surface drainage by the construction of drains or <br /> conduits and for that purpose to take lands or easements by Eminent <br /> Domain as follows : <br /> In private lands of Ellen B. Welch,. Lulu M. Blake, Heirs of <br /> Hallie C. Blake , and in Patriot's Drive from the McIntosh drain <br /> at 24 Merriam Street to the manhole in the Right of Way off <br /> Hancock Street in the rear of land of Lena G. Dreselly; <br /> Reed Street and lands of Ernest E. MacPhee and the Lexington Co- <br /> operative Bank; <br /> Locust Avenue, Independence Avenue, and Massachusetts Avenue to <br /> Curve Street; <br /> and in such other streets and locations as the Selectmen may desig- <br /> nate . <br /> Article 51. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate money for <br /> the replacement and installation of water mains not less than 6 <br /> inches and not more than sixteen inches in diameter in the follow- <br /> ing streets and in such other streets as the Selectmen may determine : <br /> Sherman Street from Grant Street to Fletcher Avenue, a distance <br /> of approximately 800 feet; <br /> Highland Avenue, from Bloomfield Street to Percy Road, a distance <br /> of approximately 510 feet; <br /> Forest Street, from Muzzey Street to Waltham Street, a distance <br /> of approximately 500 feet. <br /> Article 52 . To see if the Town will appropriate money to be expended <br /> under the direction of the Selectmen for thepurchase of materials <br /> and _equiPment and for wages of superintendence on public works for <br /> which the Town has !Dower to appropriate money- to be designated by <br /> the Selectmenq in which works recipients of welfare aid from the <br /> Town may be required to work, or take any action in reference there- <br /> to. <br /> And you are directed to serve this Warrant seven days at least <br /> before the time of said meeting as provided in the By-Laws of the <br /> Town. <br /> Hereof fail not, and make due return on this Warrant, with your <br /> doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, on or before the time of said <br /> meeting. <br /> Given under our hands at Lexington, this sixteenth day of Feb- <br /> ruary, A.
