To see if the Town will vote to apnropriate a sum of <br /> money for the Reserve Fund as Provided by Chapter 40, Section 6, <br /> General Laws, or act in any manner in relation thereto. <br /> Article 9. To see if the Town will vote to approPriate funds for <br /> the payment of pensions to retired members of the Police and Fire <br /> Departments , under Chapter 32, General Laws , or act in any manner <br /> in relation thereto . <br /> Article 10. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the SelecLmen <br /> to petition the Director of Accounts of the State for an audit for <br /> the year 1937 . <br /> Article 11 . To see if the Town will vote to appropriate a si,ni <br /> sufficient to pay the County of Middlesex, as required by law, the <br /> Town's share of the net cost of the care, maintenance, and repair <br /> of the Middlesex County Tuberculosis Hospital, as assessed in <br /> accordance with the provisions of Chapter 111 of the General Laws, <br /> and Acts in amendment thereof and in addition thereto, or take any <br /> action in relation thereto. <br /> Article 12 . To see if the Town will vote to transfer the sum of <br /> " Ia438.23 received from Middlesex County for dog fees to the Cary <br /> Memorial Library Account. <br /> Article 13. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate money to <br /> pay the necessary expenses of the Superintendent of Schools in- <br /> curred outside the Commonwealth in securing information upon <br /> matters in which the Town is interested or which may tend to improve <br /> the service in the School Denartment. <br /> Article 14. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate a sum of <br /> money to defray the expense incurred in the defense of the cases of <br /> Ryder v. Town of Lexington, which pertain to Vine Brook Drainage. <br /> Article 15. To see if the Town will vote to transfer unexpended <br /> appropriation balances in any of the accounts to the Excess and <br /> Deficiency Account, or take any other action in relation thereto. <br /> Article 16. To see if the Town will vote to establish as a town <br /> way, or accept the layout of as a town way, Robbins Road, from, <br /> Locust Avenue to Lexington Avenue, a distance of approximately <br /> 790 feet, as laid out by the Selectmen, under the Betterment Act, <br /> and shown upon a certain plan on file in the office of the Town <br /> Clerk, dated January 16, 1937, and to take by eminent domain the <br /> necessary easements therefor, and appropriate money for the con- <br /> struction of said street, or act in any manner in relation, thereto. <br /> Article 17 . To see if the Town will vote. to install sewer mains <br /> in such accepted or unaccented streets as may be applied for during <br /> the year 1937 in accordance with St. 1897 , Ch. 504, as amended, <br /> or otherwise, and to take by eminent domain any necessary easements <br /> therefor, and to appropriate money for said installation of mains <br /> by direct appropriation or by transfer from other funds . <br /> Article 18. To see if the Town will vote to install water mains <br /> in such accepted or unaccepted streets as may be applied for <br /> during the year 1937 in accordance with authority contained in <br /> the By-Laws of the Town, subject to the assessment of betterments, <br /> and to take by eminent domain any necessary easements therefor, <br /> and appropriate money for said installation of mains by direct <br /> appropriation or by transfer from other funds . <br /> Article 19. To see if the Town will vote to install an 8 inch <br /> water main in Watertown Street for a distance of approximately <br /> 700 feet , subject to the assessment of betterments , and provide <br /> funds therefor by direct appropriation, or by transfer from <br /> other funds. <br /> Article 20. To see if the Town will vote to install an 8 inch <br /> water main in Shade Street from Weston Street a distance of approx- <br /> imately 800 feet, subject to the assessment of betterments, and <br /> to take by eminent domain any necessary easements therefor, and <br /> to provide funds for said installation by direct appropriation, <br /> or by transfer from other funds . <br />
