283 <br /> Article 21. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate money <br /> for highway maintenance under authority of Chapter 90 of the <br /> General Laws. <br /> Article 22. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate <br /> a sum of money for the improvement of Waltham Street; said money to <br /> be used in conjunction with any money Which may be allotted by the <br /> State or County, or both, for this purpose; or take any other action <br /> in relation thereto. <br /> Article 23. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate <br /> a sum of money for the improvement of Watertown Street, said money <br /> to be used in conjunction with any money which may be allotted by <br /> the State or County, or both, for this purpose; or take any other <br /> action in relation thereto. <br /> Article 24. To see if the Town will authorize the Board of Select- <br /> men to sell and dispose of the property taken by the Town by fore- <br /> closure of tax titles . <br /> Article 25. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate funds for <br /> labor and materials on public works and for other expenses in con- <br /> nection therewith, to be expended by the Selectmen for aid to <br /> Persons employed on various projects. <br /> Article 26. To see if the Town will vote to establish a Road <br /> Machinery Fund , to which shall be credited all receipts received <br /> for the use or rental of road machinery, the Proceeds to be appro- <br /> priated as voted by the town for road machinery nurnoses , or take <br /> any action in relation thereto. <br /> Article 27 . To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum <br /> of 5'8225.00 to establish a Road Machinery Account for the Purpose <br /> of purchasing, repairing and operating road machinery. <br /> Article 28. To see if the Town will authorize the Board of Select- <br /> men to grant the Lexington Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the use <br /> of the auditorium in the Cary Memorial Building without charge on <br /> six evenings each year, also the use of Estabrook Hall in said <br /> building without charge, for the regular meetings of the Veterans <br /> of Foreign Wars , or act in any manner in relation thereto. <br /> Article 29 . To see if the Town will vote to accept the Provisions <br /> of law relative to the compensation of municipal employees who are <br /> injured in the course of their employment under authority of Chanter <br /> 260 of the Acts of 1936, as amended by Chapter 403 of the Acts of <br /> 1936, and to see if the Town will vote to determine the employees <br /> for whom compensation insurance shall be provided. <br /> Article 30. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate money to <br /> pay any unpaid bills for nrior years of the various town departments . <br /> . Article 31. To see if the Town will vote to establish as a town <br /> way or accept the layout of as a town way. Tower Road, from the <br /> Present end of acceptance a distance of approximately 80 feet <br /> southeasterly, as laid out by the Selectmen and shown upon a cer- <br /> tain plan on file in the office of the Town Clerk, dated February <br /> 10, 1936 . <br /> Article 32. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate the sum <br /> of 446125. 00 for the Purchase of a Man for the use of the Town Meet- <br /> ing Members , or take any other action in relation thereto. <br /> Article 33. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Lexington <br /> Zoning By-Law and Map as follows :- <br /> To substitute for the Amendment to the Zoning Law adopted by the <br /> Town at the Town Meeting November 7, 1930, which reads , <br /> uVoted:- That the town amend the Lexington Zoning By-Law and <br /> map by changing from an R.1 district to a 0 ,1 district the <br /> plot of land owned by Ethel W. Bean and located on the easterly <br /> side of Bedford Street, northwest of nroperty of said name at <br /> 241 Bedford Street, said plot extending easterly two hundred <br /> (200) feet; thence turning and running in a northerly direction <br />
