VOTED ; " That the Adams School building Committee appointed at the Town meeting 12tovember '9 , 193U , be authorized to erect and equip an addition to the Adams School Building and to make alterations in the existing building substantially in accord with the plans presented ; and that for the purpose of such construction and alterations and for the furnishing of the same the sum of X85 , 000 . 0Q , be appropriated and that of this amount r7 , 000 . 00 , be assessed and 478 , 000 . 00 , be raised by the issue of bonds or notes of the Town ; and the Treasurer , with the approval of the Selectmen , be and hereby' authorized to borrow the sum of478 , 00u . 00 , and to issue bonds or notes of the Town therefore , said bonds or notes to be payable in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 44 , General Laws , so tnat the whole loan shall be paid in not more than twenty years from the date of issue of the first bond or note , or at such earlier dates as the Treasurer and Selectman may determine .' Mr . Smith then went on to the platform of the stage , where from charts of architect ' s plans , he described and explained the situation in full . VOTED ; Mr .
