fundingcycles,Ms.Fenollosafeltcomfortableschedulinginterviewspriortosendingthe <br />applicationstoTownCounselforreview. <br />Thecommitteeagreedtoattendtoagendaitemsoutoforderwhilewaitingforthefirst <br />scheduledprojectapplicant,PatGoddard.ItwasnotedthatanincidentattheEstabrook <br />SchoolearlierinthedaymayhavepreventedMr.Goddardfromarrivingtimely. <br />2)ApprovalofCPCReporttoSpecialTownMeeting Ms.FenollosaintroducedtheĭƚƒƒźƷƷĻĻƭ <br />Reportto2015NovemberSpecialTownMeeting#2andnotedminorrevisionsthathadbeen <br />madethatdayafterthefinalreportwassentelectronicallytothecommittee.Mr.Canale <br />madeamotiontoapprovetheReportassubmittedandMs.Kriegersecondedthemotion.The <br />committeevotedinfavorofsubmittingtheReporttoSpecialTownMeeting(90).After <br />committeeapproval,Mr.KantersubmittedarevisiontotheReport,suggestingthetitleon <br />PageOnebechangedfromͷwĻŷğĬźƌźƷğƷźƚƓandRestorationƚŅtheCğƩƒŷƚǒƭĻͶƷƚͷwĻƓƚǝğƷźƚƓƭ <br />toƷŷĻCğƩƒŷƚǒƭĻͶ͵Thecommitteeagreedtothisminorsuggestedrevision. <br />DuetoMr.DƚķķğƩķƭcontinuedabsence,Ms.Fenollosaaskedthecommitteeandother <br />applicantsinattendanceiftheywouldallowMr.Pinsonneaulttopresenthisprojectsincehe <br />wasalreadyinattendance.Thecommitteeandthoseinattendanceallowedforthechange <br />andMr.PinsonneaultintroducedhisprojectbutwasthenaskedtostopuponMr.DƚķķğƩķƭ <br />arrival.Ms.Fenollosareasonedthattherewereseveralspectatorsinattendancewhohad <br />attendedthemeetingspecificallytoviewMr.DƚķķğƩķƭpresentation. <br />3)VisitorsCenterRenovation Mr.GoddardintroducedthePublicFacilitiesrequestfor$675,000 <br />tofundapotentialrenovationto\[ĻǣźƓŭƷƚƓƭexistingVisitorsCenter.Heprovidedcopiesofa <br />presentationthatwaspresentedtothePermanentBuildingCommitteeinSeptember2015. <br />Mr.GoddardnotedthatPublicFacilitiessubmittedtheapplicationtotheCPCforrenovation <br />fundsbutconceptualdesignswerestillbeingreviewedtodetermineiftheexistingVisitors <br />Centerwouldberenovatedorifnewconstructionwouldbemorebeneficial.Anupcoming <br />stakeholdersmeetingwouldfinalizetheprogrambasedontheprogrammaticneedsofthe <br />structure.Thefinalizedplanwouldhelpdetermineifarenovationoranewconstructionplan <br />wouldberecommendedtotheBoardofSelectmen. <br />Mr.Hortonaskedforconfirmationthattherequested$675,000wouldbeforworkonthe <br />existingbuildingonly.Mr.Goddardconfirmedandsaidthatamountwasagoodbudget <br />estimateforthepotentialproject.Anyadditionalfundsforrenovationwouldberaisedfrom <br />thetaxlevy. <br />Mr.CohenmentionedthathehadreceivedinputfromsomeLexingtonresidentsaboutthe <br />possibilityofmovingtheWhiteHouse(HosmerHouse)structuretotheexistingVisitorsCenter <br />locationandutilizingtheWhiteHouseinsteadofrenovatingorreplacingtheexistingVisitor <br />Centerstructure.Mr.Goddardsaidhecanlookintoitbutthestructureswerearchitecturally <br />different. <br />Mr.Pressmanaskedabouttheprioramountappropriatedforthedesignandconstruction <br />documentsinFY15.HenotedthenewrequestforFY17included$53,930indesignand <br />engineercostsandaskedifanyoftheFY15fundswerestillavailable.Mr.Goddardconfirmed <br />2 <br /> <br />
