Barrett, RA., Project Manager <br /> <br />The Minutes were taken by Jean Curran, Recording Secretary <br />The Meeting convened at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />I.Estabrook Elementary School <br /> <br />1.Project update. John Park updated the Committee with updated project photos. Mr. Park <br /> <br />shared that the café, playground have been completed. The sod has been placed on the ball field, <br />fencing and benches placed, and the irrigation has been set up. Hydro seeding has been placed and is <br />being watered daily. The west canopy roof and paneling is complete and the name of the school has <br />been placed on the building. The concrete sidewalks in front of the school, other sidewalks, paths, <br />parking lots has have all been completed. The parking lot and driveway striping is finished. <br /> <br />Mr. Park reviewed the interior, exterior, civil, furnished & equipment and commissioning punch list <br />items. Miscellaneous items include lighting and meeting with designers and users for software <br />programming and operation. <br /> <br />Looking forward, the Substantial Completion Letter is dated September 3, closeout procedures will be <br />reviewed, document turned over and training to be completed. <br /> <br />Mr. Park reviewed Outstanding PCOs. <br /> <br />The Committee engaged in discussion regarding project completion items. <br /> <br />Pat Goddard updated the committee that he informed Shawmut that their additional preconstruction <br />fee would not be approved. <br /> <br />Mark Barrett shared that the hand off of project documentation has been happening over the past <br />several months and the Department of Public Facilities has electronic copies of everything and they will <br />be placed on the hard drive. <br /> <br />Pat Goddard shared that the playground area is not yet open but he is working with the vendor to finish. <br />Mr. Goddard also reminded the Committee that the ball field should not be used at all this fall and only <br />passive play in the spring. <br /> <br />PBC Meeting 091114 Page 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
