<br /> TOWN OF LEXINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS <br />CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />Monday, August 18, 2014 <br />6:30 P.M. <br />Parker Room, Town Offices Building <br />1625 Massachusetts Avenue <br /> <br /> <br />Chair Joyce Miller opened the meeting at 6:35 pm in the Parker Room of the Town Offices <br />Building. <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Joyce Miller, Duke Bitsko, Phil Hamilton and Dick Wolk <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: David Langseth <br /> <br />Others Present: Karen Mullins, Conservation Administrator and Michelle Morelli, Community <br />Development Department Assistant <br /> <br />PENDING MATTERS <br /> <br />6:37 pm Plan change approval: 17 Bryant Road, DEP# 201-937, BL 896 <br /> Ms. Mullins explained the plan change to re-locate the wall for aesthetic <br />purposes. The wall will be over 50’ away from the wetlands at its closest point. <br />Monuments will be installed along the 50-foot buffer to demarcate the do not <br />disturb boundary as well as native plantings within the 50-foot buffer. <br /> <br />Motion made and seconded to approve the plan change as described, 5-0 in favor. <br /> <br />6:39 pm Plan change approval: 2 Brookside Ave (formerly 520 Waltham St), DEP# 201- <br />924, BL 884 <br /> Ms. Mullins described the proposed plan change to construct a paver patio <br />instead of a previously approved deck within the 200-foot Riverfront Area. All <br />details were submitted by the applicant. <br /> <br /> Motion made and seconded to approve the plan change as described, 5-0 in favor. <br /> <br />6:40 pm Discussion of plan change for 36 Sanderson Road, DEP# 201-898, BL 857 <br /> Mr. Walter Beebe-Center was present for this discussion. Ms. Miller read the <br />engineering report which stated, “The project has been modified in a minor way <br />that does not affect our previous comments.” The proposed plan change includes <br />reducing the footprint of the previously approved addition and it has been <br />relocated outside of the 50-foot buffer zone. <br /> <br /> Motion made and seconded to approve the plan change as described, 5-0 in favor <br /> <br />6:42 pm Compliance discussion and plan change approval: 2 Diamond Road (19 Grove <br />Street), DEP# 201-900, BL 859 <br /> Rich Kirby, LEC Environmental Consultants and Mike Novak, Meridian <br />Associates were both present for this discussion. The discussion included <br />changes that were made to the plan that were implemented without prior <br /> <br />
