2014-06-10Minutes Article 5 –School Master Plan Mr.Parker added his vote to a prior motion to recommend support of Article 5to the Special Town Meeting. The vote is now 9-0. Article 6 –Amend General Bylaws –Contracts and Deeds Mr.Parker added his vote to a prior motion to recommend support of Article 6 to the Special Town Meeting. The vote is now9-0. Article 10 –Amend Article 5 of November 4, 2013 Special Town Meeting –Renovation to Community Center Mr.Parker reported that the motion for thisarticle will request the appropriation ofan additional $500,000 for the renovations to the Community Center. The Community Preservation Committee supportedthis amount bya vote of 7-1 and the Board of Selectmen recommended approval by a vote of 4-0-1.It was requested that the table in the draft report be corrected for clarity. There was a motion and second to recommend support of Article 10 to the Special Town Meeting. The motionpassed. VOTE 7-0 There was a motion and second to approve the Committee’s report to the Special Town Meeting, as drafted,with the recommended changes made during the meeting.The motion passed. VOTE: 7-0 Future Meetings: 3.The next meeting will be heldon June 16 at 6:30 p.m.,prior to the Special Town Meeting.
