<br />Lexington Council for the Arts <br />Approved Minutes for meeting held January 13, 2014 <br />Attendance <br />Present – Cheryl Meadow, Lynne Klemmer, Leslie Masson, Diana South, Cristina Burwell, <br />Jessie Steigerwald. <br />Absent – Zoe Perry-Wood, Emily Passman, Regie O-Hare Gibson, Victoria Campos, Jean <br />Hart. <br />Minutes were taken by Jessie Steigerwald <br />Cristina Burwell, Chair, convened the meeting at 7:06 p.m. Cristina distributed <br />FANTASTIC Lexington Council for the Arts buttons. Members were unanimously cheered <br />by the colorful buttons and the meeting came to order. <br />Secretary's report – Jessie Steigerwald <br />Minutes from 12.9.13 had been distributed prior to the meeting and reviewed by members. <br />Leslie Masson made a motion to approve the minutes and Diana South seconded the motion. <br />The minutes were approved unanimously and will be submitted to town archives by Jessie <br />Steigerwald. <br />Today’s minutes will be circulated in a draft form within the next three days and members <br />are asked to please send suggested edits as soon as possible. <br />The Town Clerk’s office awaits minutes from March 11, April 8, May 20. Jessie will send <br />th <br />template for Cristina, Lynne and Zoe to use to complete May 20as they were both present <br />at Cary Library for that meeting. Cristina will circulate March 11, April 8 for a vote at next <br />month’s meeting. <br />Treasurer’s report – Diana South <br />2014 MCC Funds available to grant $4,425.00. <br />o <br />Local revenue $2059.75 <br />o <br />Outstanding 2013 reimbursements: <br />o <br />Cristina will send postcard to alert people that final deadline is end of February 2014 <br />This relates to the following grants: <br />Munroe Center –$400.00 - staged readings of new plays <br />Ellen Gitelman - $150.00 – film festival <br />Pradeep Shukla - $350.00 Music Conference <br />th <br />Lexington Symphony Orchestra - $355.00 - for 300 Closing Ceremony <br />Dance Inn Productions - $300.00 - Jump Rhythm Jazz Company <br />Reimbursements requested – see attachment from Treasurer <br />o <br />Chairperson report - Cristina Burwell <br />2014 Meeting Space <br /> We will continue to meet in Parker Room. <br />1 <br /> <br />
