1 INTRODUCTION <br />Townwide Facilities Master Planning <br />The Lexington Board of Selectmen wishes to have a Townwide <br />Facilities Master Plan that looks out over a 10 year period. The <br />Board charged the Ad Hoc Townwide Facilities Master Planning <br />Committee (AHTFMPC) (Committee) to evaluate the various <br />facilities needs for the Town and to develop recommendations for <br />the Board to consider. The charge is included as Appendix A. This <br />is the final report of the Committee, and it summarizes the key <br />findings and recommendations. <br />The Committee is composed of the following individuals who were appointed to the <br />Committee as members: <br />• Bill Kennedy, Chair; <br />• George Burnell, Selectman (initially); Joe Pato, Selectman (successor); <br />• John P. Carroll; <br />• Peter Kelley, Selectman; <br />• Jeanne Krieger; <br />• Richard Pagett; <br />• Jessie Steigerwald, School Committee. <br />The Committee was supported by liaisons who made important contributions to <br />assist the committee: <br />• Mark Corr, Chief, Police Department; <br />• Laura Hussong, Community Center Task Force (CCTF); <br />• James Goell, CCTF; <br />• David G.
