Economic Development: <br /> The group discussed the upcoming charette being sponsored by the Lexington <br />Center Collaborative. Apparently, the Collaborative is expecting someone from 2020 to be at their <br />Saturday meeting, but nobody has been “assigned” to officially go from the Committee. Stacey reported <br />that she had gone to their preliminary meeting last week and is planning on going to the Saturday <br />meeting. It was decided that, to bring to the charette, it would be best for her to go through old reports <br />and highlight the issues that have been brought up in past 2020 endeavors. <br /> <br />In terms of gathering support from the Chamber of Commerce, Candy reported that she has tried to <br />contact Mary Jo Bohart but has not heard back from her. Fernando stated that he would try to plan a <br />meeting with her. <br /> <br />Recruitment: <br /> The recruitment process is still ongoing. Fernando suggested that the Committee needs to <br />look at people who have been interested and involved in the past but have not been involved as of late. <br /> <br /> <br />Fernando expressed thanks to both Elaine and Kerry for their work in the 2020 process, as this was their <br />last meeting. <br /> <br />Candy mentioned that she received a request from Natick to get more information regarding the 2020 <br />process here in Lexington. It was decided that Candy, Fernando, Peter Enrich, and anybody else who <br />would like to join would meeting with the Town Administrator and others in Natick to help them in their <br />2020 type process. <br /> <br /> <br />nd <br />Future Meetings: <br /> Friday, July 22 <br />th <br /> Thursday, September 8 <br />On September 14, members of the Committee will meet with the TMMA Executive Board to provide an <br />update on what has been happening with 2020 recently. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned <br /> at 8:54 am <br /> 2 <br />
