Peggy will set up a meeting with George Burnell and Peter <br />Kelley to express the committee's position. <br />Other Business: The committee approved the proposed three and a half inch <br />square signs on the Bikeway as requested for the ACROSS Lexington loop. <br />Mike expressed appreciation for the clearing the town has done in East Lexington <br />to keep the view open to the Great Meadow. He will write a letter to the town to <br />encourage them to keep up the good work. <br />The meeting adjourned at 8:15 <br />Record of the Discussions of the Friends of Lexington Bikeways <br />We voted to endorse the Recreational Trails Program petition, asking for support <br />through MAP -21. <br />Bike corrals will continue being staffed through October. <br />For the 300 celebration, we discussed the idea of staffing a bike corral on <br />September 22.
