Open Comments: Does LPD firearms training include safely handling firearms? Yes. <br />All training incorporates training on proper handling and shooting of firearms. <br />4. Policy Review. <br />61 Traffic Safetv <br />- Page 1: include reference to MPI resource. <br />- Page 1: Reference to "engineering" is Town or State, or both. <br />- Page 2, A. Ld. Rework sentence for clarity. <br />- Page 3, 2.d. Selective enforcement "against the group of drivers who are <br />responsible for the majority of the violations" is really intended to target the <br />behaviors Rework sentence. <br />- Page 3, 2. f Evaluation of enforcement action is unclear how this will be evaluated. <br />Should not create a process that is not done. <br />- Page 4, 3.c. Selection of suitable location for atraffic stop should add language. <br />MV stop should not unnecessarily impeded traffic and officer should be empowered <br />to ask motorist to move to another location if need be. <br />- Page 4, 3.f. Should officers consider reducing forward facing lights, after the MV <br />stop is under control, to reduce the visual impediment to oncoming traffic? <br />- Page 10, ii & iii. Fix errors in sentence grammar and structure. <br />- Page 11, e. iv. Blood Alcohol test guidelines should be spelled out in policy. <br />- Page 12, 2.a.
