MEETING OF TIS ASSOCIATION OF TOWN FINANCE COMMITTEES <br /> HELD AT THE HOTEL SHERATON, BAY STATE ROAD, BOSTON, MASS. <br /> ON TUESDAY EVENING, OCTOBER 19, 1943. <br /> The Members of our Committee present at this meeting <br /> were as follows : <br /> Lewis L. Hoyt, Chairman <br /> Fred C. Newhall Carl E. Bryant <br /> George M. Hynes Richard W. Maynard <br /> Raymond L. White, Town Accountant <br /> There was a delicious chicken dinner served at 7:00 P.M. <br /> at a cost of 01.60 per plate. <br /> The first speaker after the dinner was Albert F. Bigelow, <br /> Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee. <br /> The second speaker was Mr. Searles from the Division of <br /> Accounts. During his talk, Mr. Searles stated that the financial <br /> year of the Commonwealth was from June 30th to June 30th.
