Meeting convened at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2. In attendance Chris Casey <br /> Edith Flynn <br /> Gerald McLeod <br /> William Hayes <br /> Sgt. Joseph O’Leary, guest presenter <br /> <br />3. Reviewed and approved new Performance Evaluation Program for patrol officers <br />and detectives including Evaluation Forms and Performance Expectations. <br /> <br />4. Reviewed and approved new Field Training Officer Evaluation Program <br /> including Instructors Manual and Probationer Handbook version 3.0 <br /> <br />5. Other materials that were provided to committee member sand reviewed prior to <br />the meeting included: Mission Statement, Goals & Objectives, and Performance <br />Measures, 2001 annual Town Report summary on LPD, Article printed in <br />Lexington Town Newsletter titled “The New LPD” and article published in <br />Christian Science Monitor newspaper referencing LPD employee focus group <br />initiatives. <br /> <br />6. Committee members enthusiastically commended LPD for its remarkable <br />initiatives and progress to involve employees and unions in the organizational <br />development of LPD. <br /> <br />7. Goal for next meeting is to present an action plan for accreditation. <br /> <br />8.
