A Meeting of the Board of Assessors was held on February 24, 2012 at 8:45 a.m.
located in Room 111 Town Office Building. In attendance: William Jackson, Chairman,
Edmund Grant, Member, Gregory Johnson, Member, Robert Lent, Director of Assessing
and Sandra Pentedemos, Meeting Secretary.

Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 3 -0 roll call vote to go into Executive
Session to discuss pending Abatement Applications, and Statutory Exemptions.
Executive Session
The Board approved twelve (12) FY2012 Real Estate Abatement Applications.
The Board denied one (1) FY2012 Real Estate Abatement Applications.
The Board approved seven (7) Statutory Exemption Applications:
2 Clause 41C Elderly — Approved
3 Clause 17D Elderly /Surviving Spouse — Approved
1 Clause 41A Deferral — Approved
1 Clause 41A — Statement of Entry; Notarized
The Board denied two (2) FY 2012 Community Preservation Act Applications.
The Board approved (5) Personal Property Abatement Applications.
The Board denied (1) Personal Property Abatement Application.

Board of Assessor's Meeting
February 24, 2012
The Board reviewed and approved the Minutes of Meeting held on February 10, 2012.
Old Business Rob Addelson, Director of Finance, informed the Board that Town
Counsel will draft a response to a Fiscal Year 2013 Chapter 61A Application presented.
New Business Robert Lent, Director of Assessing presented a chart for a number of
open permits needing field inspection. Property inspections can be captured during the
cyclical 9 -10 year inspection program with the Bureau of Local Assessment, Division of
Local Services.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn Executive Session and
return to regular meeting at 10:25 a.m.
