A Meeting of the Board of Assessors was held on February 10, 2012 at 8:30 a.m.
located in Room 111 Town Office Building. In attendance: William Jackson, Chairman,
Edmund Grant, Member, Gregory Johnson, Member, Robert Lent, Assessor and Elaine
Melahouris, Residential Analyst / Inspector.
Consent Agenda
Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 3 -0 roll call vote to go into Executive
Session to discuss pending Abatement Applications, Appellate Tax Board Cases and
Statutory Exemptions.
Executive Session
The Board approved twelve (12) FY2012 Real Estate Abatement Applications:
The Board approved three (3) FY2012 Real Estate Administrative Abatement
Applications:
The Board denied eight (8) FY2012 Real Estate Abatement Applications:
There were four (4) Statutory Exemption Applications to review:
2 Clause 41C Elderly Applications — Denied
1 Clause 22 Veteran's Exemption — Denied
1 Clause 41A Deferral — Approved
Review of Appellate Tax Board Settlements
Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn Executive Session and
return to regular meeting at 9:55 a.m.
