FUND FOR LEXINGTON BOARD
June 23, 2009
4:30 p.m., Selectmen's Office, Town Office Building
PRESENT: Norman Cohen, George Burnell, Alan Wrigley, Father Colletti, and Charlotte
Rodgers, Human Services Director
1. Approximate amount of money available as of 2/28/09: Income: $38,700.00
Principal: $36,355.00
Since last meeting (3/17/09) received $1, 477.77 in donations
Since last meeting (3/17/09) have spent $7,150
2. Human Services:
a. Charlotte Rodgers gave the Human Services report. The Human Services Department
has received many requests to help pay for utilities. Before payments are approved
from the Human Services Fund, the staff works with applicants to come up with plans
for future payments. The department is quickly going through their supply of Stop
and Shop gift cards. The Lion's Club has donated many gift cards. Father Colletti
graciously offered to supply some gift cards.
3. Other Issues:
a. Ratify Poll Vote —PB outstanding bills totaling $1,000— 4 -0 ratified
b. Ratify Poll Vote-KW rent and electric bills totaling $1,350— 4 -0 ratified
c. Replenish Human Services Fund ($2,000)— 4 -0 vote to replenish
d. Donation from the Spring Art Show Fundraiser (Lexx)— Acknowledged with
appreciation
4. The next meeting will be September 22, 2009 at 4:30 p.m.
5. The minutes of March 17, 2009 were approved 4 -0.
