By vote of 5 – 0, the Planning Board recommends that the motion under Article 38 be .
BACKGROUND
This offer of land came about as a result of the subdivision of the land known as 1377 Massachusetts
Avenue (lots 64 and 65 of Assessor’s Map 39) under the site sensitive special residential
development provisions. The Planning Board approved the subdivision in July of 2011. The 2,448
square foot parcel of land being donated was not needed for the development and is potentially useful
for access from the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway to Munroe Cemetery. The site’s slopes pose
challenges for formal use of such access. There is no development potential to build a house on this
site.
MOTION
That the Town vote to accept a gift of land shown as Parcel 1 on the property rights plan for the 1377
Massachusetts Avenue Definitive Subdivision approved by the Planning Board July 13, 2011.
This report was accepted by vote of the Planning Board on March 21, 2011.
