Requests from Human Services Coordinator:
1. Kathleen Maris - No funds requested. Human Service Coordinator will
continue to work with client to ensure she receives financial advisement to
better manage her assets and expenses.
2. Pamela Maynard - Granted request of up to $3,750 for repairs to roof and
chimney, replacement of doors and installation of locksets. Client will
receive assistance with managing her assets and budget. Eligibility for
insurance claims settlement will be determined. Bills to be paid directly to
vendors.
3. NN- request for rent payment denied. Committee felt it was appropriate
for the husband's income to be used to help client's situation. Committee
requested client be enrolled in appropriate mental health program. Client
has applied for Section 8- voucher program.
Request for East Village Blooming Flower Barrel Program: approved
Request for reimbursement for Plantings paid by Gilmore Fund: approved
Other Items:
1. A proposal for enhancing the Tax Write Off Program will be circulated for
discussion at a future meeting. It was suggested that an income /expense
statement be distributed to the Committee to help put these requests in
context.
