Call to order at 4:10 p.m.
No quorum of members. Approval of previous minutes postponed.
Announcements:
1. Lexington Center Committee invites our members to a meeting for the
Streetscape Master Plan. Tuesday, April 5, 2011 5:30 p.m.
2. St Brigid's House Moving will be Saturday, April 9 at 5:30 p.m.
3. Lexington BBQ for Sat and Sun of Patriots weekend
4. Tower Park Reenactment 4/16 4 p.m.
Liberty Ride business:
1. Boston USA inserts
2. Greater Merrimack Registry of Deeds insert - decided against this expense
3. Brochure Distribution thru CTM - added Fenway Park site
Larger discussion of the overall budget in order to have a framework for the
combined ad decisions - next meeting
4. Assistant Coordinator - job description needed
S. Need for advertising pictures discussed with a goal of having a CD available
with many seasons and sites to be able to pull an ad together
John will check with LHS photography teacher
Dawn will make a list for Jim Shaw to scout his files for photos that might be
appropriate
6. Tenth season celebration - Friday, July 8th contact first riders and perhaps
invite them. Banner for trolley was discussed.
7. Some discussion of need to begin to use new media like Facebook and
twitter.
Tour guide Joint Training
at MinuteMan Regional High School, Thursday 4/28 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Dawn will seek someone to help her on this. All groups need to invite staff &RSVP
Revolutionary Revelry - help with marketing is needed
Need to discuss strategic vision at next meeting
