Discussion only, no votes taken. 1. Next round of presentation meetings: a. Meet with Town Manager, Carl Valente - review concept - confirm continued access to Emily Schadler - request future access to Judy Seppala, town GIS person, DPW re installation of street signage - GCC web site — would like to post map and information eventually b. Meet with Karen Mullins - review concept - confirm continued access to Emily Schadler c. Meet with Sidewalk Committee - review concept, solicit feedback - Safe Routes to School 2. Future presentation targets: - Design Advisory Committee - Planning Board - Bicycle Advisory Committee - Tourism Committee - Historic District Committee - Center Committee - Chamber of Commerce - Town Meeting 3. Site Visit Walk — It was decided to conduct a walk on one of the loops being considered as the first loop to establish in order to record the likely number of signs and sign posts needed to mark the loop. Meet at the Fletcher Avenue gate on the Minuteman Bikeway, January 4, 1 pm. Keith will borrow the Trimble unit from Emily. Information collected will then be given to Mike to develop an estimated budget for purchasing sign materials. 4. Suggested map edits: - identify bike /pedestrian alternate routes as needed - begin to identify locations where easements need to be researched - add Recreation layer to final map - clearly mark all maps at present as DRAFT 5. Budget Issues: - Mike Tabaczynski has offered to develop preliminary budget figures for signage, posts, kiosks, etc. - Rick has offered to develop budget figures for maps, guide books, printed materials - Need budget for creation of e- materials - For now assuming we will be able to fund raise locally to cover signage costs 6. 1 Year Goals - Create, mark at least one loop by September 2012 - Sponsor 5K or similar distance run/walk event to inaugurate loop - Coordinate with Lexington 300 activities, possibly Memorial Day 2013 Minutes prepared by Keith Ohmart
